looks like a plausible solution – easy to step over sleepers in the aisle seat which would be a real bonus. The development process would have to involve the users at the high end of the dimensional scale.
Leger Holidays and coach manufacturer, Setra, have unveiled the 12 shortlisted entries in their nationwide Coach of the Future design competition with UK universities.
Now you can view the designs for yourself and vote for your favourite.
The 12 entries that have made the shortlist are currently being judged by a panel of industry experts including the editor of travelmail, the editor of Bus and Coach Buyer Magazine, the Coach Tourism Council, Setra and Leger Holidays.
The final winners will be awarded with a visit to Setra’s global HQ and research and design centre at its Neu Ulm-based headquarters.
The winner will be announced in September – watch this space for the final results or click here for more information about the Future of Coach campaign

Looks comfy but versatile. Excellent for those longer journeys.
